Blatant spoilers are selfish acts. Not everyone watches or experiences shows and film in the same span of time. In an age of DVR, it could be weeks before your neighbor sees the latest episode of his/her favorite show. We need to be a more considerate of others’ viewing habits.
The question that many of us must consider is the statute of limitations on keeping a show or film’s twists under wraps. In all actuality, it should be indefinite. Some people have no idea what Rosebud have to do with Citizen Kane or the huge twist at the end of The Empire Strikes Back. Don’t ruin something exciting and enjoyable to other people. Let others enjoy at their leisure.
